Oleoshop integration with Puntopack

As I already said, Puntopack is a logistics service that allows, obviously, to make shipments to your customers. Its most important feature is that, although it works with home delivery, it offers a different alternative from any other provider. 

By using Puntopack packages are sent to the pick up points selected by the client when making his order at your Oleoshop store. It is the client himself who goes to the pick up point to collect it. 

We must say something about this service: it is the Spanish side of Mondial Relay, a company that carries out this type of shipping in several European countries like France, Luxembourg and Belgium among others. This raises the number of collection points (1,500 nationwide) to 6,300 in total that exist in the countries where it provides service. 

There is a question that has to do with the way this company works. Although it does very similarly in the basics, such as orders tracking and others, unlike other logistic operators Puntopack has no typical agencies or offices. When we spoke of these 6,300 collection points we are actually referring to establishments associated with the programme. 

In other words: Puntopack network is formed by shops and locals scattered throughout the city so that the buyer can choose which one he prefers based on its location.
 

The process is very simple and it is done in just three steps: once the checkout process is finished, the customer is provided this shipping method with collection at a point and, obviously, he is asked to choose one. 

In order to start working with Puntopack, you need to have balance in your account. You enter a certain amount and hence it is deducted the amount of each shipment.
 

There are two shipping areas to collection points with different pricing. On the one hand, we have domestic shipments which are delivered in about 3 days average and they range between € 2.99 for a 1 kilo package to €19 if the maximum weight is 30 kg. 

When shipment is made to a point relais located in France, Belgium or Luxembourg, the delivery period takes longer until 5 working days (very reasonable)and costs are still contained: from €5.25 to €29 with limits of weights I mentioned. 

First, opening the range of shipping options is always positive. The same happens with payment methods: the more options we offer, the easier the user will find the one he needs. 

In addition to the above mentioned, and puting the customer at the heart of the strategy, we allow that anyone can make a purchase and manage the collection by himself, so that he does not have to be tied to a specific delivery date at home and he can pick up his order at a point within his daily itinerary. He can go after leaving work, or before so that a brake disappears.

From the point of view of the company, there is other value to be considered. It is that we will cut down logistics cost.  Many times several attempts are needed before delivery is successful and, in the worst cases, we ended up in a return to our store since we cannot locate the customer. This index is significantly reduced when the buyer is not subject to a date and specific time. Both customer and we are happy, and he is not frustrated waiting for his shipment.
