    The successful story we talk about today isn´t an online shop, but a very accomplished corporate website. Xavier Valls has a 17 year experience in the housing sector. He decided to make himself known on the online business 3 years ago.

    Xavier, as you explain on your corporate website, you have a method. Explain a bit what you do and what this method is about. 

    I´m a mortgage consultant. I advise on mortgage loans and I deal with the control of the entire process of purchasing a house. 

    I work exclusively for my client and I adapt myself to its financing needs. The big advantage is that I offer information of mortgage conditions of all the banks at the same time. A broader view with different alternatives. The goal is to make my clients save time and money.

    Housing sector is an area that has suffered a major crisis,resulting from the consequences of the economic crisis. Xavier, how did you to find your place in this world? 

    The key is to be constantly updated in a very changing mortgage market, to warn of the risks, avoid mistakes in loan management, analyze “the small print”, and offer the best loan offers. All this becomes myself an excellent “journey mate”

    I'd like to have the opportunity to make the importance of the figure of a “mortgage consultant” known and his pros on an online field.

    Yes. I'm very happy of my corporate website. Since the first time you enter the website, you have a generic view of who I am.I bring much transparency in information and management,contrary to financial institutions. I like my independence from banks. I team work with my client to decide the best option without selling insurance or “strange”clauses. I look for solutions, clarity, and results of all the necessary information to make the best decision. 

    Buying a home is decisive for the rest of life, it´s necessary to have a guide to clarify concepts, analyze options, identify needs and provide much information to avoid errors that cost lots of money. 

    A fee for a mortgage is not just filling in some parameters of a simulator, but it requires a risk analysis and price for each specific case and you aren´t given this by a simulator.

    One of the things that pleases me most is that my clients can give an opinion of the service that I have given them. My profession isn´t well known but happy people expressing their opinions is a motivation so that other interested people can try.
     
    On the other hand, blogs are an excellent tool to explain cases and real-life experiences and because everyone can feel themselves identified in a digital way. 

    Surely one of the strong points of your online visibility is that, at the first, you transmit transparency and proximity. Do you consider face to face communication important ,removing corporate hierarchies? 

    Yes, “face to face” communication is key. The goal is to work honestly and be transparent. This can only be done by removing barriers. 

    For example, when you go to a bank to ask about a mortgage you speak with the director but you have to know that who will probably authorize the prices or the risk won´t be this person, but someone in a higher position. Using my service, you remove these barriers.
