  • This list of the top 5 CRMs for eCommerce will interest you if you want to improve your company's processes.

  • We continue to seek solutions for online store managers. If you regularly follow our blog, you may have read posts about the best tools for social media, logistics, email marketing, or invoicing programs.

To complete your digital “toolbox,” a good CRM for your eCommerce could not be missing. It is much more essential than you might think, and if you do not have one yet, you will realize it by reading this article.

    Ready? Let’s go.
  • What is a CRM?

  • In case you are not clear on the concept, let's do a quick recap. A CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is software created for managing a company's customer relationships.

Thanks to this tool, we will have access to all data on active customers and potential customers or leads. Everything is centralized and accessible so that we or our sales team always know who is who and what their needs are.

When you have an eCommerce, data flows from various sources like the website itself, the brand's social profiles, email marketing, surveys... and if you have a physical store, it gets even more complicated.

By implementing a CRM in your eCommerce, you will improve your strategy, integrate all data, enhance the customer service you provide, convert more leads to sales...

And, if all this was not enough, thanks to the CRM, we can automate numerous tasks, allowing us to sophisticate the strategy to levels very difficult to achieve manually.
  • List of the Top 5 CRMs for eCommerce

  • It’s important to note that this is not a ranking, but we had a clear criterion when deciding which CRMs make our list: we prioritize tools that offer a good balance between price and functionality.

This only means that there are other options, some excellent, but the high costs can make them difficult to afford.

Without further ado, let's list 5 perfect CRMs for online stores.
  • #1 - Pipedrive

  • We start with a very good option (whether it is your first time using a CRM or if you have used other similar tools).

Pipedrive is easy to use, but do not think that means it is simple. It has many sub-tools. Its sales software has functions like sales automation, report generation, lead management... but it also has a powerful emailing tool for segmenting, creating, sending, and automating emails.

I would highlight the use of AI to detect opportunities and even recommend actions that lead you to close a sale or improve your results. It is also very versatile, with its own marketplace of integrations where you can download extra functionalities.

It has a variety of plans. The basic one starts at 14€ per month and scales up to 99€ for the corporate version. It is best to use the free trial version and decide afterward which suits you best.
  • #2 - Zoho

  • You may already know Zoho and not associate it with CRM, which is normal because it has more tools, like its customer service software (among others). However, the CRM alone is one of the best you can find in that quality-price range.

At customer communication level, it offers a level of personalization that is on par with market leaders. Thanks to a tool called CommandCenter, it allows creating journeys, offering the ideal solution or stimulus at every moment. Additionally, it allows multichannel tracking of all interactions, integrating email, phone, chat, social media...

Probably what will surprise you the most is its analytics and KPI tracking section, which is really outstanding.

Speaking of price: it has a plan starting at 14€ per month, but if you want to make the most of it, you’ll need one of the intermediate plans, which are between 23€ and 40€. Like Pipedrive, you can try it for free, which I always recommend.
  • #3 - ActiveCampaign

  • This CRM works very well at all levels. Certainly, creating workflows with ActiveCampaign is within anyone's reach, even if they don't have a special knack for using digital tools.

You can use different types of visualization to make that flow as operational as possible for your way of working. It does not matter if you are used to Kanban-style cards or prefer to use lists, everything is very customizable, including the cards themselves where you can enter fields, colors, filters...

Once the workflow is created, ActiveCampaign allows you, with the same ease, to track, identify opportunities with a lead scoring algorithm, assign tasks to different team members, or automate tasks so that, based on a certain condition, an email or notification is sent to the sales team.

Pricing plans depend on the number of records you have in your database, but to give you an idea, if you have less than a thousand contacts, you can start using ActiveCampaign’s CRM for just $8 per month (although I would always recommend the plus rate, for $49 per month).
  • #4 - Hubspot

  • Hubspot returns to one of our tool posts. Undoubtedly, it is one of the most powerful and varied platforms on the market regarding eCommerce solutions.

Within its suite, of course, they have a CRM. The first thing I will say is that it is a bit basic, both in functionalities and visually, but it is more than sufficient for managing a small or medium-sized eCommerce.

What does Hubspot’s CRM have? It allows you to create workflows, assign tasks, automate actions, track customers and prospects, make recommendations through AI, integrate with third-party tools... it basically performs the same functions as the other tools mentioned in this post.

The main advantage is its price: you can use it for free. It is not a demo; there is a completely free plan.
  • #5 - Brevo

  • This tool is an evolution of another called Sendinblue, which is now defunct. Brevo has managed to recover the most interesting parts of it, applying some interesting improvements.

We have a CRM solution that, through a very intuitive interface (just drag and drop), makes it easy to create sales flows, manage contacts, centralize entries and notes in a shared inbox, organize calls, schedule online meetings, automate tasks, share notes...

It also has other complementary tools that add functionalities to sales, such as the marketing platform for managing campaigns, the conversations platform for customer service, an API for sending mass messages, and another for advanced data analysis.

In any case, if you are intersted in the CRM module for eCommerce, you will see that there is a free plan that may be enough for small businesses, although considering that the highest plan only costs 15€ per month, it may be worth making that small investment.
  • These are, in our opinion, the top 5 CRMs for eCommerce. Have you decided on one yet?
