Top newsletters about eCommerce (2)

07/10/2021
  • There are more and more and better. That is why we have written a second post about those Top eCommerce newsletters you should read.

  • We suppose you have already read the first part of this series. If you have not, you can do so when you finish this article: after all, our compilation is not a ranking, since all these newsletters provide value in one way or another.

The main requirement -the only one in fact- by which we have been guided is that the content is Top and really useful for anyone who manages an online store.

The idea is that you can subscribe to different types of content that complement your continuous training, essential in this ever-changing world in which we move.
  • 5 more newsletters about eCommerce

  • We complete our list with 5 other newsletters that are absolutely essential or, at least, highly recommended.

As we already went into the theoretical aspect in the previous post, here we go straight to the point so that you can subscribe even on the fly, if you want.
  • #1 - Chusletter

  • Behind an ingenious play on words, we find what Chus Naharro (its creator) defines as a "meta newsletter'' or newsletter of newsletters.

Chus, in addition to being witty, is a specialist in email marketing, so it makes perfect sense to subscribe to the newsletter of someone who is passionately dedicated to this important subject in digital marketing.

In his weekly issues you will learn a lot, you will be updated on the latest trends, you will discover inspirational content, what works and many tricks of direct application in your strategy. All this with a casual tone keeping rigour.

It is a pleasure to read it and to “chussubscribe to the Chusletter.
  • #2 –MakinProcess

  • In this case we talk about MakinProcess by Elena Madrigal, who is a professional specialized in the so-called no code or web creation without programming.

Her newsletter is very inspirational and is full of reflections that help us to face the creative process, entrepreneurship or life itself from a positive and very constructive point of view.

Because newsletters do not necessarily have to be technical or too dense to provide a lot of value.
  • #3 – New Sector

  • In a totally different line in tone from the first two mentioned above, is the newsletter of Nuevo Sector. Its content is deep, extensive and not particularly accessible at times, but it is worth the effort sometimes required for everything that can be extracted from their emails.

Nuevo Sector is an absolutely top newsletter for eCommerce, but also for retail and the entire startup ecosystem and news, always from a prism very aligned with the idea of digital transformation.

Reports, trends, interviews with the most relevant people in the sector... all delivered directly to your inbox every week in a timely manner.
  • #4 – TL;DR

  • The title of this newsletter may seem almost cryptic, but it makes a lot of sense. It is the initials of the expression Too Long; Didn't Read. It is a phrase used when a text is too long, but it is also a formula that has been adopted to indicate that we are dealing with a summary.

That is the basic premise of TL;DR: lots of information about eCommerce and retail marketing, but without going crazy with the length. These are very interesting pills that leave the way open for us to continue researching on our own.

To be more specific in terms of topics, we will say that it talks about SEO, SEM, Social Media... it even has a section on employment. Really very complete this newsletter.
  • #5 – eCommerce tools

  • If we are talking about specific tools for e-commerce such as CRMs, ERPS, SEM managers, affiliation... this newsletter brings you exactly that: variety and depth in the most tactical part of the job. As many of the newsletters we have been seeing are strategic, this one complements them perfectly.

It is one more resource of this directory and blog created by Jordi Ordóñez and Miguel Nicolás (whom you read on Oleoshop frequently). Every Thursday you will receive in your email the latest reviews of the tools analyzed that week - already more than 250 in total - and a multitude of relevant articles for anyone who regularly uses tools to manage their eCommerce.
  • With these last 5 reviews, we finish our recommendation of Top newsletters for eCommerce. Have you discovered any newsletter you did not know? Haven´t you seen your favorite in this series of posts? Recommend it to us!
